I have done that and the edit only lets me edit the note not the date or the weight.

Just started
Today I started the diet. I have done atkins diet and have lost weight, but always put it back on. I liked atkins diet, as I was not concerned about quantities, but did no like, as to be successful you could not cheat at all. I am hoping this ViSalus diet will not leave me craving certain foods.

Incorrect Date
Somehow, I have a weight posted for January 27, 2013. The weight should have been for a different day, as Jan 27 is 9 days away. Not sure if there is any way to correct this, other than signing up again, as another person.

Topic of the Day April 30 - When Do You Weigh Yourself and Why?
I was weighing daily, first thing in the morning, but now am contemplating only once a week. I don't like the times when I have not strayed, but have gained weight from day to day, even though it might be water or some other temporary result. I do think once a week makes the most sense, but each individual can determine what works best for them.

The walk does wonders for the mental side. Unfortunately, I have such bad arthritis in my lower back, that I cannot walk without pain. I am hoping that weight loss will alleviate some of the pain.

I welcome the loose skin, as it has to be better than the fat. Of course, I have not lost enough for the loose skin to be a problem yet.

Spouse Not Supportive
My wife has been very supportive and has actually enjoyed fixing some of the recipes that I have found. We just are finishing a chicken/brocolli caserole, and she has probably eaten more of it, than I have. Of course I am old, and she knows that I am not going anywhere.

Looking to lose 100 pounds
I could stand to lose 100 lbs, but set my initial goal at 40 which, I feel, is pretty aggressive. I have much arthritis in my lower back and this, right now, prevents me from walking and playing golf. I am hopeful that the weight loss will allow me to get back to some activities.
