I've Lost the Weight, Now What?
Im actually struggling a little now that Ive lost all the weight. For the last couple of months I weigh myself everymorning and planned my day around losing weight and reaching goals. Now Ive lost it and feel kinda lost. I want to continue to eat healthy and eat proper porportions but feel a strong urge to keep dieting because it was getting me so much feed back. Soon people will quit telling me how great I look because it will be normal me. That kinda worries me.

Fellow Canadian LAWLer's ... Looking for a LA Lite sub. that's avail in Canada
I dont do the bars cause the $$$ and because in the long run I dont think it helps you make that lifestyle change (thats just a personal opinion though.) I just dont think its feasable for someone to eat 2 LA weightloss bars a day for the rest of their life. Thats also why I dont do any supplements. The only thing I do take is a multivitamin just in case :)

Pregnant, now what
Well Congradulations on the pregnacy!!! I also had to take a leave from LA weightloss the first time I started because I was pregnant. Its almost good to have started it first A) becuase your starting out at a healthier weight and b) it really helped me take off the baby weight after!!! Its totally motivating to keep going. Dont follow the diet but follow healthy eating that you've learned while on the diet. Eat fruits and veggies, lean meats, whole grains. Use low fat diary and healthy oils in your coooking. You will of course put on weight but your also providing very nutritious food to yourself and your baby. I treated my body like a garbage compacter when I was pregnant and put on 50lbs. I dont recommend doing that. Im really sad I didnt realize how the food I ate during pregnacy would effect my child as well. I was sorta selfish and ate allot of junk food and whatever else I could get my dirty mits on. I think everything that LA weight loss has taught me will really help me next time when Im pregant. I will ask myself would I feed my 9 month old pop? slurpees? potatoe chips? Probably not. You probably wouldnt either. So dont give them those poor nutrients before there born. I hope this helps :) Congrats on the pregnacy again!!!!

WHICH PLAN # TO USE AT WHAT WEIGHT
Somewhere between 150-140 (closter to 140 I think)they took me off the breastfeeding diet one and put me on a regular 2. But I dont do the bars. So the plan 2 without any bars consits of: 2.5 protien 3 veggie 2 fruit 3 startches 2 dairy 2 fat Can I ask what you get on a plan 5? My mom is around 250lbs I think and Im trying to convince her to join. I'd like to be able to give her an idea of what she would get to eat cause what I get to eat isnt what she would. Thanks

Stopped in my tracks
Pay really close attention to the serving sizes they give you. If you check out how much fruit you can have it says one small apple (4oz) where most of the apples I eat are close to 8oz and I wasnt realizing it. That would be 2 fruit instead of one. Its tought to follow it at first but pay close attention to what your actually eating. Very close attention to weighing and measuring EVERYTHING. And also ensure you drink lots of water!!!! I also use the diet calendar to help me know more about the foods Im eating. I hope this helps! And remember 2lbs is still 2lbs! Any weight loss is a great weight loss! You can do it!!

LAWL Recipes
I would LOVE some recepies with the exchange. I dont eat red meat (although I do eat chicken and fish). I mostly use cottage cheese, cheese, peanut butter for my protiens. When I first started the program in 2006 they had a carb craver program so you could exchange a protien for some extra carbs but they cut that out ;( I really liked doing that before.

New to LAWL
Hey! Well Ive been on the plan 3 months now. I actually chose not to do the bars and the supplements. Some people really like them but I dont think you can live the rest of your life eating LA bars so I chose not to do them. If you do use them I heard the Luna bars at walmart are almost the same bar and also you can check ebay and buy LA weightloss products there too for way cheaper. I'd say the first 2 weeks are the hardest. Its a huge shock to your body but your cravings really decrease after that. I'd say now that its been 3 months I crave fruit and things and sometimes startches but never pop and chips like I used to. I find breaking my meals into 6 meals a day is great and keeps me full. If you have any questions Ill try to help you out! The support on this site is awesome!!! Best of luck!

question about the new plans
Hey, Well when I was given the new plan they actually cut alot of stuff from me. I lost one carb, one veggie, one fruit and my protien stayed the same. Ow and they added a fat. I think the trick is to really pay attention to the smaller portion sizes of the protiens on this new plan. Also if your a cheese buff they want you to use 3grams or less per serving (which is pretty impossible to find) so I actually cut that portion in half with a 6gram of fat per serving cheese. I found it really hard at first but now I really use the diet calendar on here as well as my LA weight loss book. I can kinda gage what I should be eating that way. :) Hope the new plan works for you. If not definatly talk to them about changing your plan to maybe less food or just go back on your old one if you want. Sometimes I feel they dont know much at the centre.

Just curious how bad Coke a Cola zero is for you???
So Ive always HATED diet pop...that was untill now. I just tried coke a cola zero for the first time and like it. I think its because Im pretty much off sugar I dont know how the real stuff taste anymore. Just curious if its really bad for you? I know it doesnt have calories in it but does it cause water retention? I know it cant be that great for you cause its crap like all junk food but I dont want to sabatoge myself. thanks :)

Hostess Cupcakes
Thats what happened to me when I ate a weight watchers carrot cake. Yuck. It was sooooo dry. I way would of rather had one bit of a real peice of carrot cake then a whole weight watchers cake. I actually spit it out because it wasnt worth the calories. lol.

Help! I need motivation!!!! Trying to do LA Weight Loss, but they closed!!!
We still have our centre open but I NEVER go to them (once a month maybe). They really arent helpful. I dont think the "counslers" at our centre really know much about nutrition and food. So anyways one way to stay motivated is give yourself a list of rewards. After losing 5lbs you can go out on a date with your husband/boyfriend/bestfriend. After 10lbs you can get a new haircut. After 15lbs you can buy the new shoes you've been looking at ect. I really find this site the most helpful. I love all the great support I get here. I find it sooooo much more supportive here then at the centre. Hope this helps you stay motivated! Any questions there are lots of great people on this site and someone will be able to help you out!

New diet plan at L.A
The biggest thing I miss on this new plan is the carb cravers. I really liked those cause I was a previous carb junky. Now Im used to eating less carbs but I still probably will use carb cravers once in awhile since apparently that was fine to do for so long before.

How to record pizza from pizzeria?
When I search for pizza Ill try to search the nutritional info from something like pizza hut. Then I add the nutritional info into the custum food section. It wont be exact but it can give you a rough idea. I left the link below for there nutrtion calculator. http://www.yum.com/nutrition/m...

Put the food in a Recipe (far right). then once that is done, you can add it to your plan. Otherwise, you can put the components in, but better to do recipes.

Veggies, veggies and more veggies. The more I eat the more I lose! I've been making lots of soup with lots of veggies and ground turkey or cubed cooked chicken.
