Cravings
I love the "seefood" cravings, lol! If you're anything like me, it's best not to have your trigger foods in the house. I can rarely eat just one piece of chocolate or one cookie. Once the packet is open, there is no stopping me from eating it all. After eating clean for a while, your cravings diminish and it's easy to have a yoghurt or piece of fruit as snack.

Rude people
These people have their own insecurities. They use these remarks to make themselves feel better and distract from their own rubbish lives. It's rather sad. Simply ignore them, that shows them what a waste of time their behaviour is.

Custom Recipe Entry
Click on the persons profile (name). Go to food diary, chose a day, chose the meal you want to copy. It doesn't work through the app, you can only copy foods that you have eaten yourself recently.

Custom Recipe Entry
You can copy other people's meals by opening their food diary on the relevant day. On the right hand side it says "Copy krousea's meal or favorite food". Done!

im new to this website its great! 21, intermittent fasting im willing to support anyone and would a
Good work losing so much weight! I also started Intermittent Fasting 3 weeks ago. It's amazing how quickly the fat comes off. I do alternate day fasting with a small meal in the evening of the fasting day. The next day I eat normal (no calorie restriction). Which plan do you follow?

not sleeping
Have you tried the obvious? No tea or coffee in the evening, smallish dinner but don't go to bed hungry. Milk, cheese or celery are supposed to be beneficial. You could try valerian or hops tablets. Don't watch telly right until bedtime. If it is worry that keeps you awake, I can recommend the book "The power of now" by Eckhart Tolle. It is about living in the moment and not worrying about the past or future. It has helped me to sleep better. Good luck :)

Arthritis in feet
Are you able to walk? Get some comfortable shoes and walk half an hour every day. Maybe start with 10 or 15 minutes and build up slowly. Cycling or stationary bike won't put any strain on your feet. Rowing is also good non weightbearing exercise. Or for something gentle try stretching, yoga or Pilates. There are plenty of exercises you can do, you'll find lots of info on the internet. Lots of studies have shown that exercise can reduce the pain in fibromyalgia, it's definitely worth it. [url=http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.g... Good luck!

Dropping Sugar - Need Guidance Please
Going cold turkey did it for me. The first few days were horrible, like for any junkie, I guess. But after less than a week, the gravings went completely. I now have dried fruit instead of sweets. Don't look at my food diary, bad relapse today! :(

decreasing carb intake
Low carb vegan is difficult as veggies naturally contain carbs. High protein vegan foods are nuts, nut butters (high fat) or tofu, soy milk, tempeh etc. Veggies growing above ground usually have less carbs than potatoes, carrots, parnsips. Lower carb veggies have a higher water content and won't fill you up for long but it helps to add healthy fats to all meals so they take longer to digest. I once had a vegan friend who only ate fruits and vegetables. He always carried cucumber and carrots sticks because he was hungry all the time. I think adding seeds and nuts would have been better.

The downside of quitting cigarettes
What about some celery sticks cut into smaller strips, put in a container in the fridge with a little bit of water? Very low cal crunchy snack. First you can pretend to smoke them, then eat them. That's what I would do but then I have never smoked either.

Silly Question.. how skinny is too skinny?
How do you feel about your body shape? Would you be happy and confident if you didn't lose any more? I agree that a lot of people are probably jealous. We all have them in our lives. Ignore and go into maintenance when you like how you look. Erika...what an amazing website. I put my numbers in and was shocked to see that my figure isn't as bad as it feels on a fat day. Thanks

Running advice please
Thank you all for your replies. I will have another look at C25K and probably start somewhere in the middle. Do you all use heart rate monitors? I usually pace myself based on my breathing but HR probably gives you better idea of how fast you should go.

why ?
Just called it brunch! Don't beat yourself up over it, get back on the horse straight away. Maybe go for a walk for just 20 min. Plan a light lunch, a healthy dinner and a couple of snacks. And use your food diary. If you log food before you eat it, you get a good idea what impact your choices have. Please don't give up now, we all have blips once in a while. The important thing is to get back on track.

Running advice please
I used to run regularly in the past, about 4-5 times a week. I am getting back into it but I need a plan. I can run 5k but I am very slow and some days it's a struggle. Will it get easier if I just keep at it or would it be useful to do a 5k programme? They start very slow with 1 or 2 min of running followed by 1 min walking. As I can already do the whole distance, I find it frustrating to go this slow. I also do strength training with kettlebell and body weight exercises.

must try!!!
TRosales...Your plan sums it up perfectly. It's very simple but that's all it takes. Kellogg's are not interested in providing healthy food. They are after your money! All their cereals and snacks are high in sugar, low fat doesn't equal healthy! Have an apple or a banana instead, less calories and more vitamins, minerals and fiber.

Convict conditioning?
Convict...lol! I thought this was about exercise in jail! But Youtube told me it's bodyweight training. I like this sort of exercise. It's easy, cheap and hassle free. You can do it at home with very little equipment. I think it's as effective as working out at the gym. I can really see the difference in my legs, they are stronger, slimmer and hopefully soon toned too.

Power of Vitamin D-- anyone familiar?
I read a lot of stuff about Vit D a few months ago. It makes you think it's a miracle cure for all sorts of things. So I starting exposing myself to direct sunlight for 20 min daily whenever possible and I'm taking multivits and a Vit D supplement. Sadly it has not made any difference whatsoever :( I guess it's like with all supplements, they're not miracle cures but they may help to some degree in combination with a change to a healthy lifestyle.

Different
I do the same, once I've found some exciting foods, I eat the same for a few weeks until I get bored and look for something new. My snacks vary between a piece of fruit, a hard boiled egg, mini cheese or a nut bar. I find it helps to look in the Recipe section or check out people's food diaries. I also check out the nutritional sections of Runner's world, Men's Health, bodybuilding.com etc
