Late night cravings
Welcome!! Congratulations on quitting smoking! That is the kindest thing that you can do for your body. Going onto a weightloss program can help you avoid the normal gains that occur when giving up cigarettes. Sounds like you're doing well, so hang in there! I think most of us get the munchies in the evening--partly because we're tired, or bored. My best solution when I can't resist putting things in my mouth at night is to just go to bed early! It works!! Have a great week, and keep up the good work!

CBS Nightly News: The Water Myth
Well you have to drink something, and it's got to be better than sodas, coffee, and (sorry) alcohol! Milk in small doses, but come on! We're better off than we were ten years ago when we all lived on diet sodas.

Welcome to the site--you'll find lots of support and encouragement here. But I've got to say, I am always surprised when people announce that they are beginning a diet that they have no knowledge about. I am with Sararay--go read up about it yourself, and see if it sounds right to you. But this site isn't about other people telling you how to do it. We're here trying to get there ourselves, and encouraging each other on the journey. Good luck!!

Kundalini Yoga
Has anyone tried the Kundalini Yoga DVDs? I am most interested in the Fat Free Weight Loss one. I'd love to know if it's enjoyable and effective before laying out money for another DVD.

Veggies, veggies and more veggies. The more I eat the more I lose! I've been making lots of soup with lots of veggies and ground turkey or cubed cooked chicken.
