New Years Here
Well after 1 year hard slog I'm stuck at 64.5 kg. Anyone have any suggestions to help stimulate the metabolism. I'm absolutely positive I could lose more if my thyroid would just behave. Still having 4 monthly bloods done & medication is spot on... Damn there has to be an additional solution to losing more without being unhealthy.

Goal Weight
Doh.... I have struggled over the xmas/new year couldn't resist indulging now It's back to eating well. My Doctor couldn't believe I have lost weight...I told him out was sheer damn determination. Meds have changed slightly but I'm sure it won't stop my progress. If only there was a way to wave a magic wand & stop the tiredness I would be a happy girl.

Goal Weight
Nearly at my goal weight & am still slowly but surely getting there. Once achieved...The challenge doesn't finish there though. It's still a daily struggle to keep the weight off.

Quick tip to help others battle those hunger attacks.
When I take multi-vitamins I have found I don't seem to get those hunger attacks. I did some research & it appears correct, when the body is getting sufficient vitamins, the hunger cravings stop... Well its worked for me. My biggest shock was realising I wasn't getting enough iron. I was only getting 20% of my daily allowance & always feeling tired. Suppliments do make a BIG difference.

Giving into sweets?
I can't resist sweets either, rather than avoiding them & binging I have them in moderation and try healthy replacements. I microwave a banana then add fresh puree of raspberries or other fruit on top. Hits the spot for me

Anyone know anything about bio identical hormones??
I am on bio-identical hormones as well as bio-identical medication for my Hashimotos Disease. I have to have my bloods done every 3 months. Have been on Bio-Identical for 5 years, have pills & a troche to be taken orally each morning. It has worked for me all the medication is spot on, my doctor keeps a very good eye on things which is vital if you opt for this type of medication. Yes it is a little expensive, my medication costs me on average $50 per week but its worth it.

Craving
Well good luck with those challenges. There must be a good reason you feel you can't have just one of the carb, lower calorie beers. I admire your discipline and determination.
